Folk-pop alter ego of Jebediah frontman Kevin Mitchell, Bob Evans sprung to recognition in 2006 with hook laden Suburban Songbook, earning him his first ARIA for best adult contemporary album. Mitchell followed the album with Goodnight Bull Creek! and Familiar Stranger, whilst also laying down and releasing Jebediah’s comeback album Kosciuszko in 2011.

Earlier this year, Mitchell released Car Boot Sale, a nod to the “travelling salesman” touring style and penchant for selling albums out of the back of his car post-gigs. Today the suburban kid is all grown up, living on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula with his wife and two young daughters.
