Green Olive at Red Hill is a whole farm experience. We grow olives, grapes, herbs and veggies, raise sheep, chooks and pigs as well as use fresh produce from local farmers to create a range of tapas an wine you’ll love! Our all day tapas and wine menu is available everyday from 9am until 4pm.
We love to share our knowledge of farming, food and wine so also have a range of tours and courses for you to enjoy. Green Olive at Red Hill is located one hour from Melbourne, at Red Hill, in the beautiful wine-growing region of the Mornington Peninsula where we farm the good life.
Danny Mikhael’s passion for food began as a youngster spending time in the kitchen with his mother so it was no surprise when he started his journey as chef at the age of 15.
Over the years Danny has acquired a vast amount of knowledge working in great fine dining restaurants (2 hats) to fantastic upmarket cafes. During his career Danny has worked alongside amazing chefs such as Ian Curley, Tim Smith, Leo Fernandos and Chris Fullham. The knowledge that Danny has gained working with these chefs has been enormous, covering all cuisines from French to Asian and Modern Australian. Danny is excited to share this knowledge of great food along with the goodness of the farm by creating delicious tapas for visitors to Green Olive at Red Hill.
